Black socks make me feel more masculine.
Is that weird?
No. I find that men/boys tend to wear black/white socks a LOT more, because
A) shops hardly sell funky coloured socks to men/boys
B) shops don’t sell funky patterned / socks with pictures to men/boys
C) in strict school uniforms, boys have to wear black/white socks and then later in life, they just find all their socks are black/white
D) this sock divide rubs off into peoples minds, where even blue socks are seen as more girly
